After ten years behind the bars in Taiwan, Kong Sai-Hao (Michael Miu) finally returns to Hong Kong. Besides hoping to find his daughter Yau-Yau (Elanne Kong) to mend their relationship, he also plans for revenge. On one hand, he pretends to surrender to triad boss To Yik-Tin (Lam Lee), the man who caused him to be jailed. On the other hand, he tries to gain trust from police officers Chung Lap-Man (Ron Ng) and Lee Pak-Kiu (Sammul Chan). Pak-Kiu refuses to have a criminal as his friend, but Lap-Man becomes an undercover police in Sai-Hao’s gang. Along with Sai-Hao, they overrule Yik-Tin and take over the mafia, and the two develop a misconcepted mentor-student relationship. Set in Shanghai in the 1930s / 1940s, the drama follows the story of a dance hostess, Chin Zhao Li, and the 3 important men in her life.
Due to family poverty, Chin Zhao Li was forced to become a dance hostess at the infamous Paramount dance hall in Shanghai when she was 18 years old. The short story actually started with Chin at 40 years old, remembering her early days as a hostess as she watched all the young hostess at the club. A group of young male students came into the club and called Madam Chin over. All of them started dancing with different hostesses, except for one shy young man who said he cannot dance. Madame Chin then told him that he must dance and she started dancing with him. The shy young man kept blushing, and it was this scenario that made Jin recall her first love Yue Ru and how they first met. Yue Ru was also very shy and dare not even look at Chin when he first danced with her. Yue Ru sent her home and that night they became lovers. After their first night together, Chin looked at Yue Ru’s body under the moonlight as he slept, which is the first time for her, as previously she detested all the men she slept with and closed her eyes throughout the night, refusing to look at them. Chin started to cry as she realize that a woman can also love a man’s body instead of thinking that it is detestable and ugly.

Sheren Tang is a Hong Kong actress, and may be not really noticed because of her small role in every drama until she got a huge success in TVB Drama “Rosy Business” 2009.
Sheren Tang first well known drama was New Heaven Sword & Dragon Sabre (TVB, 1986), although she played as a supporting role. Sheren casted as Zhou Zhiruo (the main actress was Kitty Lai who roled as Zhao Min)
After the death of Barbara Yung Mei Ling in 1985, TVB he found a successor in the person of Sheren Tang. This proved very talented actress, and has quickly leave the shadow of the defunct Yung.
Not like another successfull TVB Actress who got a fame before by a beauty contest, Sheren Tang had enrolled in drama school chain, sure of his artistic talents. After more than 10 years of loyal service, she felt the need to look elsewhere. It then sets turn to Taiwan, China, or the rival TVB: ATV. Sheren was cast in her first role in The Legend of the General Who Never Was 1985 with Alex Man as his leading lady.
After 24 years wandering the world of acting, Sheren Tang finally crowned as Best Actress Award: Sheren Tang “Rosy Business” in TVB 42 Anniversary Awards. Casted as Hong Bo Kei 康寶琦 (Fourth wife), Sheren Tang had won many fans heart, together with her partner in the series, Wayne Lai.
